Role Summary

Our client is looking for a strong Business focused Senior Project Manager to plan and deliver the roll out for a large scale contact centre transformation within Europe.  

 

This role is all about project managing both the planning and the implementation of the cut cover to the new contact centre solution.

 

The successful candidate will need to manage challenging 3rd parties; a self-starter who can work with little direction, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and driving delivery across multiple work streams.  The successful candidate will also have experience of contact centre migrations & cut overs.

 

Note:  The successful candidate needs to be flexible and prepared to travel occasionally to Europe for key meetings and implemantations.  

Key Accountabilities

Reporting directly to the Programme Manager you will be primarily accountable for:

  • Managing a sizeable project team of internal staff and external vendors (up to 30+ people across 3-4 work streams, including internal, contract, 3rd party suppliers and Systems Integrator Partners)
  • Leading the project team to define and deliver the end to end business outcomes on which the project is reliant.  This includes both the technical delivery and the associated revision to business processes to use that technology.
  • Delivering the project(s) to agreed milestones, quality standards, and budget.
  • Managing and being accountable for all aspects of cross-project risk, issues, and dependencies
  • Identifying, tracking and managing intra & inter Programme/portfolio dependencies with other business initiatives and key projects proactively
  • Engaging, contracting and managing 3rd party vendors where appropriate
  • Building strong sustainable relationships with project and business stakeholders
  • Providing appropriate project MI externally and for steering committee meetings

Mandatory Requirements

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Project Management Experience: 5+ years PM experience. Comfortable operating within large, matrixed project teams (containing internal, external, 3rd party vendors, Top Tier SI’s)
  • Functional/Technical Experience: Experience of contact centre migrations & cut over.
  • Project Environment: proven ability to deliver projects in dynamic, fast paced and challenging corporate environments
  • Qualifications: qualified through a range of project and Programme Methodologies (e.g. MSP, Prince 2, PMP, etc.)
