Role Summary

Do you have experience of working as a management consultant working with clients on Customer-Centric transformation programmes?


Our client is working with public sector partners to help them transform services to millions of people across the UK.


They are looking for bright and ambitious consultants to join a team that is delivering client transformation through technology. They need people who can engage with their client’s senior leadership and technology teams to understand the business and technology landscape, and then help shape a solution and the transformation approach. This team is responsible for some of the most exciting and innovative opportunities in the organisation, delivering a range of work from revised operating models to technology strategies and their corresponding IT architectures.


Key Accountabilities

Reporting into the Director of Professional Services you will be part of a small new team that is shaping bids and solutions with existing and new clients.


Accountabilities include:

  • Supporting the development of innovative and pragmatic proposals that address client requirements
  • Developing technology solutions that impact the organisation and making the business case
  • Identifying and shaping potential programmes and projects to meet business outcomes
  • Gathering and assessing customer needs, both business and technical
  • Generating an implementation plan with timelines for the solution
  • Actively supporting the account team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other customer communications.

Mandatory Requirements

  • High calibre management consultancy background (ideally five years experience within a tier one consulting firm)
  • Excellent client engagement, business analysis and process change skills
  • Experience in customer centric digital transformation projects (customer transaction/engagement, system change, analytics).


Optional Requirements

It will also be advantageous if you have experience working with Local Government clients.
